FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

Everything clients ask before booking - the format, the logistics, the money question and the compliance question. If yours is not here, ask us directly.

Part 1

The format

Is this gambling?

No. Our events are offline entertainment built around casino-themed tables. Guests play with symbolic chips or points that hold no monetary value. There are no stakes, no payouts, no cash prizes and no betting, and we do not operate any online casino service.

What are the chips worth?

Nothing. Chips are unmarked, carry no denominations and cannot be bought or exchanged for anything. Every guest receives an equal welcome stack, and standings are tracked only for the length of the evening.

Do guests need to know the rules?

No. Our croupiers teach each table in a sentence or two and keep newcomers comfortable. In practice the guests who hesitate at the start are often the ones still at the table at the end of the night.

Which tables can you bring?

Roulette-style, blackjack-style and poker-style tables, plus compact versions built for homes and smaller rooms. A poker-themed dinner format is available where you want the evening seated.

Part 2

Planning and logistics

How many guests can you host?

We plan for up to 350 guests on a single floor, with the table mix and host numbers scaled to the headcount so no queue forms. Smaller events start from around eight guests.

How long does an event run?

Table time is usually up to 6 hours, with set-up before and pack-down after. Shorter blocks are available, and team-building sessions normally run two to three hours.

How far in advance should we book?

For Victorian end-of-year functions, three to five months ahead is sensible because late November and December fill early. Outside that window four to six weeks is usually enough, and we sometimes have same-week availability.

Do you travel outside Melbourne?

Yes. Regional Victoria is routine, and we work in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth on request. Interstate quotes include travel and freight, set out as separate lines.

Can you work in a private home?

Usually. We need a clear path for the table, a reasonably level floor and about three metres per table including standing room. Send photos of the room and access route and we will confirm before you book.

What do you need from our venue?

A confirmed bump-in window, loading access details, lift dimensions where relevant, a power point near each table and the venue curfew. We liaise with the venue directly once you introduce us.

Part 3

Booking and pricing

What does an event cost?

Quoted on request. Pricing depends on event size, venue and chosen format, so we prepare a quote based on your bespoke event concept rather than publishing a rate card. The written quote lists exactly what is included before you commit.

How does booking work?

You receive a written concept and quote. If it suits, we confirm the date against a booking agreement and an agreed booking deposit, then work through the floor plan, run sheet and any branding in the weeks that follow.

Can we brand the chips and tables?

Yes. Chips, card backs, table dressing, signage and photo zones can be produced in your palette. Branded chips need roughly three to four weeks from artwork approval, and no denominations are printed on anything.

What happens if we need to cancel?

Cancellation terms are set out in your booking agreement and depend on how close to the event date the cancellation falls, because staff and equipment are committed in advance. Our Terms and Conditions explain the principle.

Part 4

Age, safety and compliance

Is there a minimum age?

Yes. Our events are strictly for guests aged 18 and over. We do not market to or depict minors, and our hosts will politely hold that boundary on the night.

What if a guest is affected by gambling-related harm?

We recommend that anyone experiencing gambling-related problems does not take part, even in a casino-themed event with no money involved, and we make it easy to sit out. Our Responsible Entertainment notice includes general information about support services in Australia.

Are you insured?

Yes. Certificates of currency, staff lists and risk documentation are supplied before bump-in, and we can complete venue or agency compliance paperwork in your own format.

Still deciding?

Read the event formats to see how the services fit together, or look at Melbourne and Victoria for local planning notes. Our Terms and Conditions cover booking, cancellation and liability, and the Responsible Entertainment notice sets out our position on gambling in full.
